Power loads: what to include with your tool reference

A tool model, cartridge dimensions and feed format make a power load enquiry more precise.

Power loads: what to include with your tool reference

Milestone's catalogue separates powder actuated tools from power loads. An enquiry is easier to review when it identifies both the tool and the load format, rather than naming only one of them.

Identify the tool and its load format

Include the manufacturer and full tool model, the cartridge or chamber specification and the feed format. If you have an existing load pack, a clear photograph of its label can help identify the reference you are asking about.

Add the power level required by your tool documentation or purchasing specification. Keep that requirement separate from the cartridge dimensions and order quantity.

Two catalogue references to distinguish

The S1JL product listing gives a cartridge size of 6.8 × 11 mm. The DP307 tool listing identifies a .22 caliber tool. These are separate catalogue entries: listing them together does not establish a compatible tool-and-load combination.

When requesting either item, send the complete tool and load details so the sales team can discuss the intended combination with you.

Specify quantities and packing

State the number of pieces or boxes required. For a strip-fed format, include the required strip format and pack count. Add the inner box quantity, carton requirements and destination to the enquiry.

The S1JL listing on its product page has a minimum order of 1,000 boxes. Use the product-specific quotation form to keep that model and its URL attached to your request.
